Job
Summary:
This position performs varied tasks in order to prepare wholesome and nutritious meals and maintain the equipment, machinery, and food production facility in an orderly, safe, and sanitary state. This position also requires maintaining appropriate documentation relating to the effective management of dietary operations. Will work as needed, days vary, 6:30 am-5:30 pm.

Qualifications:
Education:
Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Prior foodservice experience preferred
Certifications:
Candidate must possess Servsafe Food Handlers Certification. Other similar certifications by recognized certifying agencies may be considered
Training:
Candidate must complete annual professional enhancement trainings as well as complete all agency assigned trainings
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to be flexible and manage time, resources, and customer services in a professional manner
Demonstrate understanding and ability to work with clients dietary or special needs diets
Demonstrate respect and appreciation for diversity (culturally relevant, anti-bias, and multicultural)
Skills necessary to support and promote a professional work environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to form and sustain effective relationships with staff & team members
Demonstrates competency and familiarity with organizational policies and procedures relating to foodservice

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
