Your
Responsibilities:
General Duties:
Maintain the Auburndale Clerical and Medical Department cleanliness and sanitization in accordance to Weekly Cleaning Schedule or as needed.
This includes providing custodial support for WIC, Healthy Start and Dental as requested or neededSweep, mop and sanitize immunization, labs, exam rooms and waiting areas according to the weekly cleaning schedule or as needed.
Sweep, mop and sanitize the employees and clients' restrooms.
Restock Toiletries for the Employee and Clients Restrooms as neededClean Conference Room and ensure properly set up for scheduled events.
Clean glass doors as needed.
Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
Take trash to the dumpster as necessary, including empty boxes as needed.
Sanitize/Disinfect countertops surfaces, door handles, clinic equipment and chairs.
Clean spills as needed or directed.
Collect incoming biohazard containers and place in Biohazardous Storage Room as required.
Complete routine inspection of the entire clinic and report any issues or repairs as needed.
Conduct minor repairs and or troubleshoot equipment issues.
Change light bulbs as requested.
Display/Monitor client message boards and declutter old information/flyers as needed.
Request Net Facility ticket to be submitted as needed.
Clean breakrooms, ensure the refrigerator and microwave are cleaned monthly and old items disposed of Groundskeeping:
Pick up trash and debris from the front and back parking lots and the surrounding clinic property as needed or directed.
Empty outside trash or cigarette containers as needed or requestedReport any repairs or issues as needed.
Other Duties:
Maintain time, attendance, and EARs records.
As an OPS state employee in the FDOH-Polk, Auburndale Clinic, employee will participate in disaster preparedness and recovery activities.
Attend staff meetings and complete all trainings as required by the Department of Health.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of environmental and safety requirements related to custodial services and tasks.
Can lift 15 to 20 poundsClean and supply designated facility areas.
Perform various cleaning actions such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.
Receive and track supply deliveries for all departments.
Perform and track maintenance activities.

Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
