Summary:
This is a professional position responsible for offering support assistance to caregivers, adoptive parents and group home providers focusing on teaching skills to caregivers that will assist them with parenting children and teenagers who have experienced trauma and exhibiting behaviors that are concerning and impacting placement instability.
The focus will be on caregiver and child relationships building, placement stability interventions, and coordinating approaches for integrating Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) trainings and support strategies with caregivers, providers, and the current pool of TBRI practitioners within the system of care.
This position will also be assisting and supporting the documentation needs in the Integrated Health Department.
Essential Functions:
Establish and maintain positive working relationship with HFC internal and external customers Accept referrals from various department staff when caregivers need enhanced strategies to stabilize a child or youth Coordinate communication regarding TBRI trainings and support opportunities within the foster home - HUB model Facilitate ongoing TBRI trainings to further build parenting skills of caregivers and skills of staff in group homes in C-10 Facilitate and model TBRI nurture groups in local group homes for staff and for clusters of enhanced foster homes Participate in meetings and staffing's involving needs for placement stabilization and possible placement disruptions Assist with reaching out to caregivers as needed to involve them in trainings and support opportunities Coordinate a monthly meeting with all C-10 TBRI practitioners to seek support and collect data on TBRI integration in C-10 Work with other departments collaboratively that will send referrals for caregivers in need of TBRI and support Attend meetings in Florida regarding TBRI implementation Coordinate, plan and support family camps as needed focused on TBRI and relationship building Ensure quality and timely documentation of work Provide support to the Integrated Health Dept.
by attending Multi-Disciplinary Team staffings, documenting and entering staffing notes in the dedicated system regarding specific behavioral and physical health needs of children and teenagers.
Perform special projects as assigned Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field and a TBRI Practitioner.
Lived experience as a foster or adoptive parent.
Qualifications Preferred:
Two years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in some capacity in the community is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
